On April 22, 2015, mom passed away at 11pm surrounded by her sister Nenette, her husband Bob, and me, her daughter Katie. We watched her take her final breath as she made her way home and found the peace she very much deserved. We miss you already, mom, your smile, your wisdom, humor, positivity and genuine zest for life and all the good things it has to offer...we know you are in His hands.
Details on service arrangements to shortly follow. We thank everyone for their patience, love, and support that they have given to mom, Bob, and our family during this time. We know first-hand that mom appreciated everything you all have done for her.

ReplyDeleteWords may not comfort you and Bob right now, so feel all the love and prayers flooding on you both at this moment. Lean on Him. Your Mom has left a legacy of love and "joy" to all who were blessed to know her. I know the love she flooded over my brother changed him forever, for which I am beyond grateful. Thank you for giving precious time to let us know.

Joy has lived a good life, the life that He has planned for her. She's now home at peace with no more pain to suffer and most of all at the bosom of the Father. We now have a friend up there. Hugs to Bob, Joy, Katie and Joy's siblings.

ReplyDeleteJoy was so blessed to have such strong, courageous, compassionate and loving souls by her side as she traveled this final journey on earth. I know you will all be in eachothers' hearts and spirits beyond physical boundaries now. She was such a force of love, enthusiasm and joy to all she knew. I know the reason she had so many loving arms holding her in the end, was because she had loved you all so deeply throughout her life as well. She was a tremendous example to the world of how to live, how to make the world a better place, and how to enrich the lives of all those around you. You all gave her the greatest gift in return. Find comfort in the knowledge that you were all there for her every step of the way. She was never alone, and now she will be forever watching over you from above. If there is anything at all Patrick and I can do, please just let us know. We love you all!
